House. Mid-late C18. Coursed gritstone, Westmorland slate roof.
3 storeys, 3 bays. C20 glazed double doors to centre in rusticated surround
with large keystone and flat moulded entablature. Architraves with keystone
to all windows; a Gibbs surround to first-floor central window. Ground-
floor right window lowered to make French window; all other ground and
first-floor windows are 16-pane sashes. Second floor has C20 windows to
left and centre and 4-pane sash to right. Banded eaves cornice. Ashlar
coping with cavetto-moulded kneelers. End corniced stacks. Single-storey,
lean-to service block attached to left: 2-light flat-faced mullioned window
with 4-pane casements; tall stack to left.
