3/10 Gates and gate piers to
West Lodge

GV II

Gates and gate piers. Late C18-early C19. Wrought-iron gates and ashlar
piers. Gates: of 2 leaves, approximately 2 metres high. Bars and dog bars
with foliated tops. Piers: square in section, approximately 3 metres high.
Plain with deeply-moulded cornices and pyramidal caps. This gate opens onto
the A1 and is no longer in use. Included for group value.
