GV II

House. Late C18/early C19. Orange-red brick in Flemish bond; slate roof;
brick stacks, one rebuilt. 3-storeys with basement, 2-window front. Flight
of steps to recessed 6-panel door with panelled reveals under fanlight with
radial glazing. Open pediment on brackets. 3-storey, canted bay to left
with 12-pane sashes to ground and first floors; unequal 9-pane sashes to
second. Windows over doorway are similar under gauged brick arches.
Moulded timber eaves cornice. End stacks to shallow-pitched roof. Late
C18/early C19 cast-iron railings to front, ramped up on entrance steps.
