House and smithy of several builds. Late C18 with earlier origins.
Limestone rubble brought to course, pantile roof. Smithy to left, 2-cell
direct-entry house to right with straight joint between, and parallel cross
wings to rear. 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows to house. Smithy: outshut
to front has double board doors and roof hipped to right. 2-light Yorkshire
sash to right return. House: right section lower and set back. 4-panel
door flanked by 2-light Yorkshire sash to right return. House: right
section lower and set back. 4-panel door flanked by 2-light Yorkshire
sashes. Squat 2-light Yorkshire sashes to first floor. Gable coping,
shaped kneelers to both right gables. Right end and ridge stack. Interior:
smithy equipment and internal features now removed.
