House, now 2 dwellings. Early-mid C18, with alterations. Sandstone ashlar,
some lightly tooled; herringbone-tooled on right return and rear. Pantiled
roof. 2 storeys, 3 windows, very irregular. Doors paired in centre: Ebor
Cottage 4-panel, with blocked overlight, in later Cl9 wood frame with bracketed
cornice; West Lea 6 beaded panels, with blocked patterned overlight, under
ball-bordered serpentine hood on full-length reeded brackets. Ebor Cottage has
14-pane sashes with projecting cills; shutter hinge pins on ground floor; West
Lea has 2 modern casements on each floor. Both show traces of older openings.
Coved eaves; big curved kneeler at right. Rear elevation, of 1 storey due to
rise of land, shows small 8-pane sash at left and 2-light stone-mullioned
window, with small sashes, at right.
