Beggar's Bridge over River Esk

Bridge, 1619 dated with arms of Thomas Ferris of Hull who built it.
Roughly-coursed large sandstone. Single deep segmental arch with
voussoirs and arch ring. Peaked parapet, with chamfered coping,
over arch only. Paved roadway, between coped abutments at either
side, 6½ feet wide.
