Stable-byre building, late C18 or early C19, with horse-gin and
pigsty added at south-east end in early-mid C19. Coursed herringbone-
tooled sandstone; with stepped eaves;pantiled roofs. L-plan. Long
1-storey building with low loft over; scattered openings. One
doorway and one window chamfered; other openings show signs of
alteration. 3 rows of pigeon holes, with alighting shelves, in
south-east gable end and a stepped, chimney-like feature at apex
with 3 + 2 pigeon holes in the stages; slit vents and a blocked
door. South-west wall has 3 boarded doors, 6 small pivoted windows
and 2 loft openings, one a door, the other a window. Horse-gin
house attached to south end has large boarded south door under oak
lintel; open north section under eaves extended in corrugated iron.
Pigsty attached with henhouse over; ascending row of throughstones
form steps to henhole in north-east gable end. Two more pigeon
holes and alighting shelf in gable peak.
