School and school-master's house, now village hall and house. 'The / Gift of
Mrs / Dorothy Wilson / of York (sic) 1714' on plaque with later range to front
of no special interest. Pinkish-orange brick, whitewashed to part otherwise
cement rendered, with pantile roof. 2 storeys, 5 first floor windows. Off-
centre entrance a 6-fielded-panel door with overlight. 12 and 16-pane sashes
throughout under cambered heads. Dentil eaves band. Swept roof. Ridge and end
stacks. Outshut to rear under catslide roof.
