Farmhouse. Probably late C17 with later additions and alterations including
restorations c1980. Magnesian limestone coursed stone with pantile roof,
the lower 2 courses stone slates. L-shaped on plan with rear range to
right. 2 storeys, 4 first-floor windows with 2-storey, single-bay advanced
range to left. Off-centre entrance a C20 plank door with heavy lintel with
C17 tooling. 2-, 3- and 5-light mullion windows mainly with cement mullions
but to left range an original 3-light mullion window to ground floor. Ridge
stack. Interior. C18 dogleg staircase with barleytwist-on-vase balusters.
Service staircase has turned balusters. Re-cut Tudor arched fireplace to
sitting room. Chamfered beams and exposed rafters to some ceilings.
