Dated 1669 on a tablet in inner court. Grape Lane elevation of 2 storeys
in brick. 4 double-hung sash windows. Pantile roof. Eaves cornice. Rusticated
quoins. Double bowed Georgian shop window under enriched entablature;
2 central doors inset with rectangular fanlights; no glazing bars. Open
dentilled doorcase with blank radiating fanlight. Side entrance has open
dentilled pediment, plain pilasters, blocked ornamental semi-circular fanlight.
Internal 3-sided courtyard of similar character to rest of the house forms
Nos 1, 2 and 2A Lockey's Yard (qv).
River front rising from water is of 2 storeys in brick, stone rusticated
quoins. Hipped pantile roof. 4 double hung sash windows. NMR.
Captain Cook's House, The Clinic and Nos 19 to 28 (consec) form a group.
