Row of 7 cottages. One is dated 1711 which probably applies to all of them although
it is possible that they contain some earlier fabric. Rendered cob walls. Slate
roof hipped to left end, gabled to right. 4 rendered stone stacks with dripmoulds.
All are axial except for one at the right gable end.
Plan: apart from the right-hand cottage, No. 19, the cottages are arranged in pairs
which have communal recessed porch with a door in either side to each cottage.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Each cottage has asymmetrical 1-window front.
No. 7 has mid-late C20 2-light casements without glazing bars. To right of its
first floor window is slate plaque inscribed "John Loveday Durent 1711". C20 part-
glazed door to right in recessed porch.
No. 9 has C20 part-glazed door to left and mid C19 sashes, tripartite on ground
floor.
Nos. 11 and 13 share a recessed porch at centre which has C20 double glazed doors.
Both have mid-late C20 casements without glazing bars.
Nos. 15 and 17 also share a recessed porch with doors to either side within it. No.
15 has small paned circa early C20 3 and 2-light casements and 4-panel C19 door.
No. 17 has early C20 2-light small-paned casement on first floor and later C20 3-
light are below. C20 plank door.
No. 19 has 3-light early C20 casements and a C20 plank and glazed door to the left.
Interiors not inspected.
