The Old Rectory
GV II
House, formerly a rectory. C17 reworked C19. Timber framed construction,
ground floor recased and partly rebuilt in brick, with colourwashed plaster
infill and render. C20 tile roof. T-plan. 2 storeyed, the cross-wing
slightly lower. C19 canted bay to ground floor of LH cross wing. C20
casements elsewhere. Substantial external red brick chimney to LH wall of
cross-wing, with paired diagonal stacks. Red brick double ridge stack to main
block. Substantial C20 addition to RH end.
