Gatepiers, Gates and Walls. Late C18. Ashlar to piers, rubble stone to wall
base, ashlar block course, brick to walls, dressed stone copings and wrought iron
railings. 2 pairs of piers either side of central gatepiers making 6 in all.
Flanking piers are 1.5 metres high with moulded bases and cornices and spiral
fluted urn finials. These are linked to the gatepiers by curving and ramped
quadrant walls with plain wrought iron railings. The gatepiers are 2 metres high
with chamfered rustication, floral garlanded entablatures below fluted friezes and
moulded caps with swagged rams' head urn finials, that to the left hand renewed.
2 ornamental gates with arrowhead dog bars and wrought iron scrolls to top bars.
