Detached house, now in 3 separate ownerships. C18 core with C19 alterations and
additions, C20 restoration. Render with dressed stone to openings and slate
roofs. 2 storey 3-window south front. All windows are 16 pane sashes, those to
ground floor with ornately carved brackets and flat cornices. Central C20 glazed
small pane door. 2 storey canted bay to east return front. Further rear wing
with similar fenestration and bracketted window cornices. Doorway to left hand
addition with Doric pilasters and round-headed arch. Deeply projecting eaves
cornice, ridge brick stacks. Interior. Fine c-1830 steeply ascending staircase
with cast iron balusters and mahogany rail.
