House and adjoining smithy now garage. Mid or late C17 with C19 alterations and
additions. Whitewashed rubble walls under graduated greenslate roof with brick
chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 4 bays with single-bay former stable to left now
forming integral part of house under common roof; lower right-angled former
smithy to right. Top-glazed panelled door in rebated surround under
Tudor-arched lintel. Further doorways to left and right are C19. Irregularly-
spaced sash and casement windows in painted stone surrounds, some with glazing
bars; those which are smaller could be original. Smithy has C20 garage door in
original opening with flanking casement windows.
