5/27 Lodge to south-west of Woodlands

Gate Lodge. Early C19. Coursed rubble with double Roman tile roof. 2 storeys.
T-shaped plan with drive facade of 3 windows. Top opening 9-pane windows to
ground floor, 2 Gothick pointed-arched windows in gabled dormers with lozenge and
Y tracery glazing to upper floor. Similar Y tracery glazed door to east front
and simple pointed-arched window to the west front. Lean-to loggia on tree-trunk
piers to three sides. Hipped roof and central brick stack.
