3/18 Yew Tree Cottage

Detached cottage. C17, C18 addition. Square-panelled timber
framing, partly rebuilt with flint and brick, half-hipped thatched
roof, brick stack. Baffle-entry. Single storey and attic, 3-
window; casements. Planked door with strap hinges in thatched
porch to left, 3-light and C20 two-light casement to right, 2-light
casement to left of door. Attic has three 2-light casements to
raking dormers. Right return is flint and brick with slate-hung
attic. Left return has lean-to extension. Rear has brick lean-to
extension, two dormers. Interior not accessible at time of survey
(August 1985), but said to have open fireplace and chamfered beams.
Left-hand bay is C18 addition.
