Semi-detached cottage. C17. Rubble stone with some cob and brick,
half-hipped thatched roof, brick stacks. L-shape, former through
passage plan. Two-storey, 4-windowed; casements. Central 6-
panelled door with two 2-light casements to left, single casement
in blocked doorway and two 2-light casements to right. First floor
has three 2-light and one single light casement. To right is short
cross wing with brick raised eaves and limestone quoins, two top-
hung casements to ground floor and 2-light casement to first floor.
Right return has 2-light casements. Rear has planked door to
through passage and casements.
Interior has two winding staircases, one against through passage
and one in cross wing against stack, two open fireplaces, west one
has beaded lintel on stone jambs, fireplace in cross wing has
deeply chamfered lintel on chamfered stone jambs, chamfered ceiling
beams with stepped stops.
