Semi-detached cottage. Late C17 with C18 rear drawing room.
Dressed limestone, hipped thatched roof, brick stacks. Two-storey,
2-window. Glazed C20 door in thatched porch to right of centre
with 3-light and single-light casement in blocked doorway to left
and 2-light casement to right. First floor has 2-light and 3-light
casements, insurance disc over porch. Right return has two
rendered raking buttresses, 16-pane sash and single-light ovolo-
moulded casement to ground floor, first floor has 2-light and 3-
light casements, former roofline and straight joint between front
and rear ranges visible. Rear has 16-pane sash to drawing room, 3-
light casement to first floor, attached to right is single-storey
former dairy with planked door and 16-pane sash.
Interior has deeply chamfered beams with stepped stops, open
fireplace with chamfered lintel on stone jambs, planked doors and
winding stairs in south east corner of front range. Rear C18
drawing room has door with 6 fielded panels, Adam-style fireplace
with fluted pilasters and wheat-ear ornament, flanking cupboards
with fluted pilasters to dentil cornice, shaped shelves.
