GV II

Detached cottage. Mid C17, altered C18. Dressed limestone,
thatched roof with hip to right, brick stacks. Central baffle
entry. Two-storey, 3-window. Blocked doorway to left of centre
with 3-light casement to left and 3-light recessed chamfered
mullioned casement small fixed window to right. First floor has 3-
light casement and 2-light mullioned casement in former full
dormer, 2-light wooden mullioned casement to right, eaves raised.
Right return has 3-light casement to first floor. Left return has
lean-to single storey extension with 2-light casements, 6-panelled
door and pantiled roof. Rear has C20 porch, 2-light casements and
2-light mullioned casement to first floor.
Interior has open fireplace with timber lintel on stone jambs,
deeply chamfered beams with ovolo stops and planked doors.
