Group of farmbuildings enclosing yard on three sides. Mid C19 for
Fonthill Estates. Dressed limestone, tiled roof with ceramic
ridge vents. Detached stable on north side of group, now calf
shed, of one storey with loft; 3 planked stable doors and 7
shuttered windows to south side with two gabled loft doors over,
gable ends have planked loft doors and west gable has planked
ground floor doors, attached to rear is range of open-fronted
implement sheds. Yard to south of stable is enclosed on west and
north sides by single storey ranges of cowsheds and open fronted
shelter sheds to south, doors are planked with strap hinges,
shuttered windows, outer facing walls are windowless. Part of C19
Fonthill Estate improvements.
