GV II
Wrongly shown on OS map as Higher Lawn Farm.
Model farmbuildings. 1869 for Marquess of Westminster. Dressed
limestone, Welsh slate roofs, ashlar stacks. Ranges enclosing two
fold yards on all but the south side. North range of stables have
planked stable doors and shuttered windows, square louvred roof
vents with pyramidal slate cappings, ashlar stack to tack room.
Single storey range of cow sheds and shelter sheds on east sides of
both fold yards, now partly converted to sheep sheds, square
louvred vents with slate pyramidal cappings and a wrought iron
weathervane in middle of range. West range consists of large barn
with projecting 2-storey granary and former engine house on east
side, ashlar stack for engine now partly truncated. Louvred vent
on barn has weathervane with letter W for the Westminsters. Large
Tudor-arched cart entry either side of barn for access to yards, 2-
