Taken 22/08/2023 from the Northeast. The round topped windows on the left extension to the building are known as Dering windows. These are common in Pluckley and Little Chart, they seem to be everywhere, and were installed in properties owned by the Dering Estate. One explanation is that one Sir Edward Dering escaped from Roundheads through such a window.
