House on sloping, corner site; c1788 for Daniel Gardner. Limestone blocks with
ground and 1st floor bands; eaves cornice. Hipped, graduated slate roofs;
stone chimneys to rear. 3 storeys with cellars, 3 bays. Recessed, part-glazed
door and semicircular fanlight, in Gibbs suround, up stone steps; 2 sashes to
right and 3 to each upper floor, 2 cellar windows now blocked. Full-height bay
to south return semicircular in plan with curved sashes. Lower wing to rear.
