House with attached barn. 2 beams to rear of barn dated 1747; premises licenced
for religious use in 1751. House has incised stucco front with plinth and
chamfered quoins. Graduated slate roof with stone copings, kneelers, moulded
eaves, and brick end chimneys. 2 storeys, 5 bays (symmetrical). Central
panelled door and rectangular fanlight with stone surround carrying cornice; 2
sashes with glazing bars to either side and 5 sashes with glazing bars to 1st
floor. All windows have stone surrounds. Internally, reeded doorcases with
panelled doors survive throughout; oak staircase has turned balusters and tall
multi-paned, stair window. Barn is of coursed rubble with graduated slate
roof. 2 open bays to rear of barn with initialled and dated beams.
