House, initialled and dated on porch R. & M.H. (?), A. & E.S. (?) 1665. Altered
and extended into former granary in C18. House of slobbered rubble, former
granary of rendered rubble with lst floor sill band. Graduated stone-flagged
roofs with stone chimneys. 2 storeys. Entrance to house through porch on south
elevation, formerly stair wing (reduced in height in C20) with semicircular head
to chamfered outer door surround; original plank inner door has metal studs and
retains draw-bar. Single 3-light C18 window in stone surround to each floor on
left. North elevation retains C17 mullioned and transomed 5-light window; blocked
2-light windows visible. West elevation of former granary has C18 french window in
stone surround with projecting imposts and keystone to semicircular head;
paired sash above.
