C18, roughcast over stone, slate roof. 2 storeys, built into the hillside at the
rear. Long irregular plan. 12-paned sash windows with stone sills and lintels.
A 2-storey bay window in middle of garden front (rear). Originally all one house,
where Shelley is said to have spent his honeymoon. Stone rubble stable and coach-house
adjoin on north end, with red sandstone quoins, segmental brick arch to coach entrance,
2 boarded doors to stables, 2 loft doors above, and 2 rows of arrow slits.
