Farmhouse and adjoining barns. Probably mid C17 with extensive early C19
alterations and additions. Painted incised stucco walls with angle pilasters.
Welsh slate roof with coped gable to right; stucco chimney stacks, that in
centre large and square. Barns have roughcast walls with angle pilasters under
graduated greenslate roofs. 2 storeys, 3 bays with 3-bay extension to right and
flanking L-shaped barns forming overall U-shape. Old house to left has thick
walls with sash windows in plain chamfered painted stone surrounds. Wall blank
where central chimney stack is. Extension has panelled door within artisan
Tuscan porch (minus architrave and antae). Windows similar to others. Barns
have segmental through archways flanking house. Plank doors, loft doors and
casement windows in red sandstone surrounds. Rear of house has C19 extension
with C20 ground floor windows.
