Trerice Bridge
II
Bridge over the River Fal. Early C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Each
side of the bridge has two rounded arches with granite arch rings. On the upstream
side there is a roughly hewn granite cutwater, and on the downstream side a central
rubble buttress. The parapet walls are about one metre high, in rubble, with rounded
granite coping. The bridge is about 8 metres long and about 4 metres wide. There
was formerly a ford over the River Fal at this point.
