5/68 Barn at approximately 80 metres
- south of Trevider Farmhouse
GV II
Barn. Circa late C18 or Early C19, extended circa mid C19. Granite rubble with
granite dressings. Older part incorporates some reused C17 chamfered masonry.
Grouted scantle slate hipped roof.
Plan: Rectangular plan len hened circa mid C19 on the left. Built into the banks
on the right where there is short flight of stone steps up to a loading doorway in
the right-hand end.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Irregular north front. Original front on the right has
central doorway flanked by slit ventilators and there is a partly blocked first floor
loading/winnowing doorway right of middle and a blocked window on the left. Circa
mid C19 extension on the left has slit ventilator on the left, window over, and first
floor loading doorway on the right.
Interior: Remodelled in C milking as parlour but has C19 first floor and roof
structures.
