Road bridge over stream and leat for Roskennals Mill. Datestone 1843 and inscribed
to E.H., rebuilding of older bridge from which terminal refuges and parapets survive.
Granite ashlar with granite dressings except for rubble-walled remains of older
bridge.
Two-span bridge: a wide span over the stream and a narrow span over the leat. Older
semi-circular on plan refuge at either end of the circular-on-plan parapet ends of
the 1843 bridge. Skew arches. Round-headed arches, projecting keystones over
principal arches; parapet string with tall ashlar blocking course forming each
parapet, inscriptions in relief over main arch: 1843 at south side, EH at north
side.
