Village school, now hall. Circa late C19. Killas rubble with granite dressings.
Steep dry Delabole slate and granite roof with coped gable ends ; bellcote over left-
hand end and external lateral stone stack to front.
Plan: rectangular schoolroom plus hipped lean-to at right-hand end and small porch
towards right in front. Gothic style.
Exterior: single storey. Irregular 2 window west front with doorway within open
fronted porch at far right of schoolroom, large external stack with weathered offset
towards left. Porch gable end carried on shaped brackets and has an exposed arch-
braced truss with cusped detail. Original door and original mullioned widows with
leaded glass: 2-light window left of the stack ; 3-light window right of the stack
and 4-light window with relieving arch to the middle of the left-hand gable end.
Bellcote over the left-hand gable has weathered buttresses springing from the gable
copings and a weathered gable with finial over a pointed arched bell opening.
