the Old Rectory

Butterwell. Circa early C19. Slate stone rubble wellhouse with slate shelves.
Rectangular-on-plan, standing at the south east corner of a small pond about 40
metres to the west of the former rectory of Trevalga (qv The Old Rectory). The
wellhouse has the remains of a timber doorframe to the 2-centred arched opening in
the front gable end.
Interior : the slate slab shelves are arranged against the left hand wall.
