4/263 Garden walls and remains of
dovecote to east of Croan

GV II

Garden walls and remains of dovecote. Circa C18. High stone rubble walls enclosing
three sides of garden to east of Croan. Directly to south of these walls are the
remains of a dovecote; the high stone rubble walls appear to have been unroofed and
have slate caps. The walls enclose an area, roughly rectangular-on-plan
approximately 8 metres by 16 metres and have several lines of pigeon holes on the
inner face of each of the walls.
