Barn. Probably early C18. Stone rubble. Bitumen coated slate roof with half hipped
ends.
Plan: Rectangular, fairly deep plan with entrance in left-hand side.
Exterior: One storey and attic. Front elevation with two, probably C19 window
openings. The ventilation slit openings, visible on the interior, have been blocked
on the exterior. Right-hand side elevation with narrow slit openings with several
rows of dove holes above. Large double doors in left-hand side elevation.
Interior: Deep narrow openings to ventilation slits with splayed openings on
interior. The first floor joists are massive but roughly cut. The roof structure
has been partly replaced in the C19; principals halved, lap-jointed and pegged at the
apices.
