Farmhouse, later divided into 3 cottages, reverted to private house in C20. Circa
late C17 or early C18, extended in C19 and C20. Painted and rendered stone rubble
with some cob. Rag slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble rendered end stacks and
rendered brick axial stacks.
Plan: Main range of 2-room and cross or through passage plan, heated by end stacks.
Circa later C18 wing to rear right, of 2-room plan heated by axial stack backing onto
main range and by end stack. Further extended with 1-room plan extension at end of
rear wing and with outshut extension to rear of left hand room of main range in circa
C19. Altered in mid C20 when reverted to one house.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Almost symmetrical 3-window front with dressed stone segmental
arches. Plank door in gabled rendered C20 porch flanked by 2-light casements to
right and left and 3 above. Right-hand elevations to road with small circa C18
scratch moulded window frame in first floor of gable end. C19 and C20 2-light
casements, two in blocked door openings.
