House, now nursing home. Early C19, altered (and recently greatly enlarged by
the addition of a rear wing). Granite ashlar, slate roof with red cockscomb ridge
tiles, brick chimneys. Rectangular double-depth plan. Two-and-a-half storeys,
symmetrical; central doorway with overlight, now covered by large modern flat-
roofed glazed porch; two 16-pane unhorned sashed windows on each floor and a
12-pane sash in the centre of the 1st floor; three full dormers with 16-pane
sashes and hipped roofs. Gable chimneys. Round-headed stair-window in rear wall;
otherwise, the sides, rear, and interior are not now of special interest.
