House. Early C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, roofed with slate. 2-span plan
facing NW, at right-angles to road, with internal stack at each side of front
range. 2 storeys. 3-window range of late C19 sshes in original apertures with
flat arches of gauged brick. C20 central porch with introduced C18 door and
doorcase at front, 6-panel door, plain fanlight, foliate capitals, dentilled
open pediment. String course of gault brick at base of plain parapet.
Low-pitched roofs, the front concealed by parapet. The rear elevation has on
the first floor 3 original sashes of 16 lights. The 2 front ground-floor rooms
have introduced early C18 pine panelling and introduced fireplaces, one of
sandstone, C18, and one of painted warble, early C19. All introduced features
reported to have been bought from London County Council, from buildings
demolished in 1950s.
