Cast iron pump and associated walling. 1852 by Gilbert. Cast iron lift pump on
granite bucket stand on step with round-headed slate back plate attached to
rectangular coped pier of shale masonry and with rubble garden wall to left and
right. Pump is operated by a very long curved lever with oval ring handle.
A very well preserved example of a C19 village pump.
