No. 1 is a lobby-entrance house, C17. No. 2 is a C19 extension to it, forming
2 joined cottages. Timber-framed, plastered, roof tiled.
No. 1: 3 bays aligned NE-SW, aspect NW, with original chimney stack in middle
bay, forming a lobby-entrance, C17. Lean-to extension with slate roof, C19.
Single-storey with attics. C20 casement windows, the upper ones in 2 gabled
dormers. Stop-chamfered beams, with lamb's tongue stops in NE room only.
Joists of vertical section, unchamFered. Upper part of chimney, in roof,
was reduced in size in C19.
No. 2: 2 bays with C19 chimney stack at each end. C20 windows, the upper
ones in gabled dormers.
