Farmhouse, garden walls and gate to east. C17, with datestone 1892 in rebuilt west
corner. Slatestone rubble walls, rendered to entrance front. Delabole dry slate
roof with brick chimneys over gable ends to main part and half-hipped at higher level
to wing lateral brick chimney to rear. L-shaped, single depth, 3 room plus wing with
lean-to plan. 2 storeys. 2 window north-east entrance front adjoins 1 window wing
to right. Projection to right in angle probably original stair turret but now
extended with lean-to porch over doorway. 4-paned, horned sashes. Cambered arches
to ground floor openings. South west, irregular 5 window rear has 12 and 16-paned
horned sashes. Round-headed stair window slightly left of centre and entrance within
lean-to porch to left. Cambered brick arches to ground floor openings.
Interior has circa 1700 splat baluster dog-leg stair, six 2-panel doors, one to first
floor room adjoining wing with heavy C18 ovolo moulded glazing bars and glass to top
panel and one to first floor room of wing with ovolo moulded frame. Roof trusses
have pegged apexes and collars.
Cement coped rubble garden wall to north east linked to pyramidal topped corner post
and low granite coped wall to south east with wooden dowelled fencing. Central
dowelled gate with curved bracing flanked by square on plan piers with cement
rustications and curved pyramidal granite caps with ball finials. All probably 1892.
