GV II
Dyke, formerly mill pond dam and stream culvert entrance at head of creek. Circa
1850. Slatestone with granite dressings. Slightly curved on plan. North wall has
round, stream exit arch with granite voussoirs, flanking pilaster piers with granite
quoins rising above wall level. Retaining walling to left and right of piers has
vertically set dry rubble with pronounced batter to continuous granite string at base
of parapet level. Parapet walling is random rubble laid horizontally with granite
coping.
