The inscription from the brass states..Here under lyethe the Bodye of Petter Coryton Esquyer whiche Dyed the xxiiij daye of Marche in yere of our Lorde God MCCCCCli and Jane his wyffe daughter and Ere unto John Tregasoo which Jane Dyed the ..day of .. In the yere of our Lorde God MCCCC .. Of whose Soulles God have mercy which had betwene them xxiiij Children
