This building (seen on the left) is now a cafe and B&B and is currently known as The Old Bakery. Garrett Street links Cawsand and Kingsand, and the boundary between the twin villages is a few dozen yards away. Until the middle of the 19th century Kingsand was in Devon and Cawsand was (and is) in Cornwall. Now the River Tamar mostly forms the county boundary.
