first floor corresponding to a first floor door in the left end of the barn. The
group form a modest planned farmyard.
Exterior of stable: The stable is a nearly symmetrical 2-storey range. At first
floor there are 3 loading doors in hipped dormers; to each side of the central door,
there are 2 ventilation slits, and the outer ends have a ventilation slit to left and
a small single light to right. At ground floor, there are 9 openings, 4 doors and a
double door which is off-centre to right; the windows are 4-pane lights or shuttered,
all with flat stone arches. Left side blind.
Threshing barn: Tall 2-storey barn, in 2 builds, with a straight joint between; the
later C19 addition to the right. Asymmetrical barn, with 3 door openings at ground
floor, all with flat stone lintels with keystones; one door blocked with 2-pane light
inserted. At first floor there is a loading door set off-centre to left, with a
pitched slate hood; smaller loading door to right. Ventilation slit to right and
left. 2 rows of square pigeon holes under the eaves. Granite quoins. The addition
to right is at the same roof level, with a 4-pane light and door at ground floor,
narrow opening and single light at first floor; half-hipped roof. Single storey late
C19 addition to right, wtih door and single light with segmental brick heads, single
light at the right side. The left end of the barn has a loading door at first floor.
At the rear there is a tall gabled wing behind the first building; ventilation slits
to left.
Granary: 2 storey square plan building. The front has a door at ground floor to
right, and the left side has an external granite stair leading to a door at loft
level. At the right side there is a loading door at first floor, which is directly
