6/187 Ice house about 250 metres north
west of Pentillie Castle
GV II
Ice house. Probably late C18. Slatestone rubble. Small gable ended building with
stone roof; rectangular plan ; front gable end has doorway with flat arch, keystone
and voussoirs, string course over. No windows.
Interior: Stone vaulted roof. Drain on the rear wall; this may have channelled a
stream from outside.
