Road bridge over stream. 1756, widened in late C.19. Original
elevation (S.E. side): dressed sandstone. Single semi-circular
arch, vermiculated and rusticated voussoirs and bands to
spandrels, abutments and parapet, torus extrados; plain band at
base of parapet which has plain saddle-back coping. C.19
elevation: rusticated rockfaced sandstone. Plain semi-circular
arch. Both parapet walls terminate with simple off-set circular
piers. Under-side of bridge is vertically-tooled ashlar
