6/39 Former barn at Stretton
House

GV II

Former barn, now a garage for historic vehicles, 1769, altered. Brown
brick with gabled brown tile roof. Large central doorway at rear with
segmental relieving arch over lintel; blocked doorway of similar size
opposite. 6 pane timber casements. In right gable a circular
pitch-hole and (below, left) a datestone O (Oakley) RM 1769; small
recessed crosses in brickwork of left gable wall; 3 recent vehicular
doorways in rear wall, in keeping.
