Early C19. Late Georgian farmhouse of local pinkish brick. Swept pantiled roof
has stone gable copings, kneelers and eaves cornice. End brick chimneys. Two
storeys, three windows, fairly large proportions. Stone lintels and cills to
late C19 sash windows. Ground floor bays removed, four 12 paned windows inserted
(2 either side of central door). New 6 panel door with 3 panel glass oblong
fanlight. Rear elevation shows round headed staircase window with Gothick
tracery. Interior has some moulded cornices and plenty of original woodwork
including a good staircase with turned balusters and spiral ended handrail.
