House (now a residential home). Mid C18, with C19 and C20 alterations. Rendered
brick; Welsh slate gabled-end roofs. 3 storeys. Double depth plan with roughly
central hall and stair to rear. Front: 3 storeys, regular (but not quite
symmetrical) 3 window range; End tracks; dentilled cornice; 4-pane horned
sashes to 1st and 2nd floor windows. Doorway (slightly left of centre) with
6-panel door under fanlight (with panelled soffit) and 3/4 columns in reveal,
all original and set now between 2 Victorian bays, that to left with 2:4:2
sashes, to right with 2:3:2 sashes, both connected at cornice level by open
ironwork decorative railings. Victorian extension recessed to left. Long 1940s
extension recessed to right, both with slate roofs. Interior: good dog-leg
stair with turned balusters rises full height of house; panelled doors in deep
reveals with moulded surrounds.
